Delete your Chiwara account

Two ways to delete your account

• From the app: open Account Settings in the Chiwara app and use the in-app Delete Account feature.
• By email: send an account-deletion request to Chiwara Support at support@chi-wara.com.

Before you send your request

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Chiwara account so Chiwara can verify ownership. A suggested subject line is Chiwara account deletion request. You do not need to reinstall the app, and you do not need to include any UUIDs, account IDs, passwords, one-time codes, purchase receipts, payment information, or other credentials.

Data that Chiwara deletes

After your request is verified and processed, Chiwara permanently deletes the Chiwara-controlled account data associated with your account, including:

• your Chiwara authentication account
• your saved favorites
• Chiwara Premium entitlement records associated with the account
• the RevenueCat customer record associated with the Chiwara account

Store purchases and subscriptions

• Apple App Store and Google Play transaction history is maintained by those stores and is not erased by deleting a Chiwara account.
• Deleting your Chiwara account does not cancel or refund an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel it separately in the applicable store’s subscription settings to stop future renewals. An active subscription may be restored after signing in to a Chiwara account again.

How the request is handled

• The request should come from the email address associated with the Chiwara account so Chiwara can verify ownership.
• Chiwara may contact you if additional verification is reasonably necessary.
• Once verified, the account and the associated Chiwara-controlled data will be permanently deleted.
